The Challenge:2014
In the FTC 2014 challenge Cascade Effect two teams of two robots compete to score points through several methods. The playing field consists of a ramp and starting zone for each team, the center structure, and the rolling goals. The center field structure holds 120 small balls and 40 large ones. The rolling goals are three different heights 30 cm, 60 cm, and 90 cm. Each rolling goal gives a scoring multiplier to balls scored in it. The first thirty seconds are autonomous mode where robots can preform several tasks. The next two minutes are driver controlled mode, where robots score balls into their team's rolling goals. The last thirty seconds are the endgame where robots are also able to score balls in the center structure. At the end points are given for robots and goals in the end zones.
